The Book of Zines: Readings from the Fringe.
The online incarnation of Chris Rowe's book by the same title continues as a directory of zine related links, including interviews, legal issues, articles and essays. Each entry link is dated and although continue to be updated, the majority of items were added in 2002.
Grrrl Zine Network.
This directory was created in 2001 in order to provide a comprehensive feminist zine resource online. This site is international in scope (over 30 countries and in 12 languages), providing listings and links to more than 1,000 feminist-oriented zines and distros. Resources include links to "Grrrl, lady and transfolk zines and zinemakers, links to magazines, zine resources such as libraries, distros, resources on feminism, writings on zines, message board, and interviews." Writings on zines include a list of dissertations, thesis and writings on the topic of zines.

Zineology: Do-it-yourself Periodicals.
Chris Dodge, the creator of the Street Librarian website, updates this site on a regular basis. Zineology includes zine directories and distros, zine news and review sources, zine collections, zine articles and events and an annotated bibliography of books and articles about zines.
